sudhriter dhrishtaketur vai

SYNONYMS
tasmat -- from Devarata; brihadrathah -- a son named Brihadratha; tasya -- of him (Brihadratha); mahaviryah -- a son named Mahavirya; sudhrit-pita -- he became the father of King Sudhriti; sudhriteh -- from Sudhriti; dhrishtaketuh -- a son named Dhrishtaketu; vai -- indeed; haryasvah -- his son was Haryasva; atha -- thereafter; maruh -- Maru; tatah -- thereafter.
TRANSLATION
From Devarata came a son named Brihadratha and from Brihadratha a son named Mahavirya, who became the father of Sudhriti. The son of Sudhriti was known as Dhrishtaketu, and from Dhrishtaketu came Haryasva. From Haryasva came a son named Maru.
