kshatravriddhanvaya bhupa
SYNONYMS
sahadevah -- Sahadeva; tatah -- from Sahadeva; hinah -- a son named Hina; jayasenah -- Jayasena; tu -- also; tat-sutah -- the son of Hina; sankritih -- Sankriti; tasya -- of Sankriti; ca -- also; jayah -- a son named Jaya; kshatra-dharma -- expert in the duties of a kshatriya; maha-rathah -- a greatly powerful fighter; kshatravriddha-anvayah -- in the dynasty of Kshatravriddha; bhupah -- kings; ime -- all these; srinu -- hear from me; atha -- now; nahushan -- the descendants of Nahusha.
TRANSLATION
From Haryabala came a son named Sahadeva, and from Sahadeva came Hina. The son of Hina was Jayasena, and the son of Jayasena was Sankriti. The son of Sankriti was the powerful and expert fighter named Jaya. These kings were the members of the Kshatravriddha dynasty. Now let me describe to you the dynasty of Nahusha.
Thus end the Bhaktivedanta purports of the Ninth Canto, Seventeenth Chapter, of the Srimad-Bhagavatam, entitled "The Dynasties of the Sons of Pururava."
