SYNONYMS
sarmishtha -- the daughter of Vrishaparva; ajanati -- without knowledge; vasah -- the dress; guru-putryah -- of Devayani, the daughter of the guru; samavyayat -- put on the body; sviyam -- her own; matva -- thinking; prakupita -- irritated and angry; devayani -- the daughter of Sukracarya; idam -- this; abravit -- said.
TRANSLATION
Sarmishtha unknowingly put Devayani's dress on her own body, thus angering Devayani, who then spoke as follows.
