SYNONYMS
tasya -- of him (Kartaviryarjuna); putra-sahasreshu -- among the one thousand sons; panca -- five; eva -- only; urvaritah -- remained alive; mridhe -- in a fight (with Parasurama); jayadhvajah -- Jayadhvaja; surasenah -- Surasena; vrishabhah -- Vrishabha; madhuh -- Madhu; urjitah -- and Urjita.
TRANSLATION
Of the one thousand sons of Kartaviryarjuna, only five remained alive after the fight with Parasurama. Their names were Jayadhvaja, Surasena, Vrishabha, Madhu and Urjita.
