api -- alas; abhadram -- something mischievous; nah -- among us; yushmabhih -- by ourselves; bhargavasya -- of Cyavana Muni; viceshtitam -- has been attempted; vyaktam -- now it is clear; kena api -- by someone; nah -- among ourselves; tasya -- of him (Cyavana Muni); kritam -- has been done; asrama-dushanam -- pollution of the asrama.
TRANSLATION
How strange it is that one of us has attempted to do something wrong to Cyavana Muni, the son of Bhrigu. It certainly appears that someone among us has polluted this asrama.
