SYNONYMS

munih -- Saubhari Muni; pravesitah -- admitted; kshatra -- by the palace messenger; kanya-antahpuram -- into the residential quarters of the princesses; riddhi-mat -- extremely opulent in all respects; vritah -- accepted; sah -- he; raja-kanyabhih -- by all the princesses; ekam -- he alone; pancasata -- by all fifty; varah -- the husband.

TRANSLATION

Thereafter, when Saubhari Muni became quite a young and beautiful person, the messenger of the palace took him inside the residential quarters of the princesses, which were extremely opulent. All fifty princesses then accepted him as their husband, although he was only one man.
