sṛjāila, jīyāila, tāńre nā mānila
kṛtaghna ha-ilā, tāńre skandha kruddha ha-ila
SYNONYMS
sṛjāila — fructified; jīyāila — maintained; tāńre — Him; nā — not; mānila — accepted; kṛtaghna — ungrateful; ha-ilā — thus became; tāńre — to them; skandha — trunk; kruddha — angry; ha-ila — became.
TRANSLATION
Some branches did not accept the original trunk that vitalized and maintained the entire tree. When they thus became ungrateful, the original trunk was angry at them.
