prathama paricchede kailuń 'mańgalācaraṇa'
SYNONYMS
tāte — therefore; ādi-līlāra — of the First Canto, known as Ādi-līlā; kari — I do; pariccheda — chapter; gaṇana — enumeration; prathama paricchede — in the First Chapter; kailuń — I have done; mańgala-ācaraṇa — invocation of auspiciousness.
TRANSLATION
Therefore I shall enumerate the chapters of the Ādi-līlā. In the First Chapter I offer obeisances to the spiritual master, for this is the beginning of auspicious writing.
