ei mate pratisūtre karena dūṣaṇa
śuni' camatkāra haila sannyāsīra gaṇa
SYNONYMS
ei mate — in this way; prati-sūtre — in each and every aphorism; karena — shows; dūṣaṇa — defects; śuniyā — hearing; camatkāra — struck with wonder; haila — they became; sannyāsīra — of all the Māyāvādīs; gaṇa — the group.
TRANSLATION
When Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu thus showed for each and every sūtra the defects in Śańkarācārya's explanations, all the assembled Māyāvādī sannyāsīs were struck with wonder.
