SYNONYMS

rātre āsi' — returning at night; śivānandaŚivānanda Sena; bhojanera kāle — at the time of eating; kukkura — the dog; pāñāche — has gotten; bhāta — rice; sevake — from the servant; puchilehe inquired.

TRANSLATION

At night, when Śivānanda Sena returned and was taking his meal, he inquired from the servant whether the dog had gotten its meals.
