gauḍiyā, uḍiyā, yata prabhura bhakta-gaṇa

sabāra ha-ila rūpa snehera bhājana

SYNONYMS

gauḍiyā — devotees from Bengal; uḍiyā — devotees belonging to Orissa; yata — all; prabhura bhakta-gaṇa — devotees of Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; sabāra — of all of them; ha-ila — was; rūpaRūpa Gosvāmī; snehera bhājanaan object of love and affection.

TRANSLATION

Thus Rūpa Gosvāmī became the object of love and affection for all the devotees of the Lord, including those who came from Bengal and those who resided in Orissa.
