hena-kāle prabhu āilā tāńhāre milite
cāle śloka dekhi prabhu lāgilā paḍite
SYNONYMS
hena-kāle — at that time; prabhu — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; āilā — came there; tāńhāre milite — to meet him; cāle — in the thatched roof; śloka — verse; dekhi — seeing; prabhu — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; lāgilā — began; paḍite — to read.
TRANSLATION
At that time, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu went there to meet him, and when He saw the leaf pushed into the roof and saw the verse, He began to read it.
