kṛṣṇa-vicchede duḥkhe kṣīṇa mana-kāya

bhāvāveśe prabhu kabhu praphullita haya

SYNONYMS

kṛṣṇa-vicchede — because of separation from Kṛṣṇa; duḥkhein unhappiness; kṣīṇa — thin; mana-kāya — mind and body; bhāva-āveśe — by ecstatic love; prabhuŚrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; kabhu — sometimes; praphullita haya — becomes healthy and developed.

TRANSLATION

The unhappiness of separation from Kṛṣṇa exhausted the Lord's mind and reduced the structure of His body, but when He felt emotions of ecstatic love, He again became developed and healthy.
