āsi' sei durgā-maṇḍape vāsā kaila
avadhya vadha kari' māḿsa se-ghare rāndhāila
SYNONYMS
āsi' — coming; sei durgā-maṇḍape — at that very place of the Durgā-maṇḍapa; vāsā kaila — made his residence; avadhya — a cow or calf, which is not to be killed; vadha kari' — killing; māḿsa — meat; se-ghare — in that place; rāndhāila — cooked.
TRANSLATION
The Muslim minister made his residence in the Durgā-maṇḍapa of Rāmacandra Khān. He killed a cow and cooked the meat at that very place.
