SYNONYMS

aneka paṇḍita — many learned scholars; sabhāyain that assembly; brāhmaṇa — brāhmaṇas; sat-jana — respectable gentlemen; dui bhāi — the two brothers; mahā-paṇḍita — very learned scholars; hiraṇyaHiraṇya; govardhanaGovardhana.

TRANSLATION

In that assembly were many learned scholars, brāhmaṇas and respectable gentlemen. The two brothers Hiraṇya and Govardhana were also greatly learned.
