vaiguṇya-kīṭa-kalitaḥ

paiśunya-vraṇa-pīḍitaḥ

dainyārṇave nimagno 'haḿ

caitanya-vaidyam āśraye

SYNONYMS

vaiguṇya — of material activities; kīṭa — by the germs; kalitaḥ — bitten; paiśunya — of envy; vraṇa — from boils; pīḍitaḥ — suffering; dainya-arṇavein the ocean of humility; nimagnaḥ — merged; ahamI; caitanya-vaidyamto the physician known as Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; āśrayeI surrender.

TRANSLATION

I am infected by the germs of material activity and am suffering from the boils of envy. Therefore, falling in an ocean of humility, I take shelter of the great physician Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.
