śuniyā sabāra haila ānandita-mana

duḥkha pāñā svarūpa kahe sakrodha vacana

SYNONYMS

śuniyā — hearing; sabāra — of all of them; haila — there was; ānandita-mana — great happiness in the mind; duḥkha pāñā — becoming unhappy; svarūpa kaheSvarūpa Dāmodara Gosvāmī began to speak; sa-krodha vacana — angry words.

TRANSLATION

Hearing this, everyone present was greatly happy. But Svarūpa Dāmodara, who alone was very unhappy, began to speak in great anger.
