chatre yāi' māgiyā khāite ārambha karilā
SYNONYMS
kata dine — after some days; raghunātha — Raghunātha dāsa; siḿha-dvāra chāḍilā — gave up standing at the gate known as Siḿha-dvāra; chatre yāi' — going to an alms booth; māgiyā — begging; khāite — to eat; ārambha karilā — he began.
TRANSLATION
After some days, Raghunātha dāsa gave up standing near the Siḿha-dvāra gate and instead began eating by begging alms from a booth for free distribution of food.
