śirera pāthara yena paḍila ācambita
SYNONYMS
teńho gele — when he left; prabhura gaṇa — the associates of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; haila haraṣita — became very, very happy; śirera — on the head; pāthara — a stone; yena — as if; paḍila — fell down; ācambita — suddenly.
TRANSLATION
The devotees considered Rāmacandra Purī to be like a great burden on their heads. When he left Jagannātha Purī, everyone felt extremely happy, as if a great stone burden had suddenly fallen from their heads to the ground.
