ghaṭe ghaṭe ṭheki' kata ghaṭa bhāńgi' gela
śata śata ghaṭa loka tāhāń lañā āila
SYNONYMS
ghaṭe ghaṭe ṭheki' — when there was a collision between one pot and another; kata — so many; ghaṭa — pots; bhāńgi' gelā — became broken; śata śata — hundreds of; ghaṭa — pots; loka — people; tāhāń — there; lañā — bringing; āila — came.
TRANSLATION
Many of the waterpots were broken when people collided with one another, and hundreds of men had to bring new waterpots to fill.
