pūrve dakṣiṇa haite prabhu yabe āilā
tāńre milite gajapati utkaṇṭhita hailā

pūrve — formerly; dakṣiṇa haite — from South India; prabhu — Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; yabe — when; āilā — returned; tāńre — Him; milite — to meet; gajapati — the King of Orissa; utkaṇṭhita — full of anxieties; hailā — became.
TRANSLATION
When Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu returned from His South Indian tour, Mahārāja Pratāparudra, the King of Orissa, became very anxious to meet Him.
