teńho daṇḍavat kaila, prabhu kailā ālińgana

dui jane kṛṣṇa-kathā haila kata-kṣaṇa

SYNONYMS

teńho — he; daṇḍavat — obeisances; kaila — made; prabhu — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; kailā — did; ālińgana — embracing; dui jane — between the two of them; kṛṣṇa-kathā — topics about Lord Kṛṣṇa; haila — there were; kata-kṣaṇa — for some time.

TRANSLATION

Vallabha Bhaṭṭācārya offered Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu his obeisances, and the Lord embraced him. After that, they discussed topics about Kṛṣṇa for some time.
