loka-sańghaṭṭa dekhi' prabhura 'bāhya' yabe haila
sannyāsīra gaṇa dekhi' nṛtya saḿvarila
SYNONYMS
loka-sańghaṭṭa dekhi' — by seeing the great crowd of people; prabhura — of Lord Caitanya; bāhya — external consciousness; yabe haila — when there was; sannyāsīra gaṇa — the groups of Māyāvādī sannyāsīs, headed by Prakāśānanda Sarasvatī; dekhi' — seeing; nṛtya saḿvarila — suspended His dancing.
TRANSLATION
When Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu regained His external consciousness, He saw that many Māyāvādī sannyāsīs and other people were gathered there. He therefore suspended His dancing for the time being.
