kumbhakāra ghare chila ye mṛd-bhājana

saba ānāila prāte, caḍila randhana

SYNONYMS

kumbhakāra — of the potters of the village; gharein the houses; chila — there was; ye — whatever; mṛd-bhājana — clay pots; saba — all; ānāila — brought; prātein the morning; caḍila — started; randhana — cooking.

TRANSLATION

When the villagers brought their stock of rice, dhal and flour, the potters of the village brought all kinds of cooking pots, and in the morning the cooking began.
