ińho kene daṇḍa bhāńge, teńho kene bhāńgāya
bhāńgāñā krodhe teńho ińhāke doṣāya
SYNONYMS
ińho — Nityānanda; kene — why; daṇḍa — the staff; bhāńge — breaks; teńho — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; kene — why; bhāńgāya — allows to break it; bhāńgāñā — after allowing to break it; krodhe — in anger; teńho — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; ińhāke — Lord Nityānanda; doṣāya — accuses.
TRANSLATION
The devotees could not understand why Nityānanda Prabhu broke the staff, why Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu permitted Him to do so, or why, after permitting Him, Caitanya Mahāprabhu became angry.
