matta-siḿha-prāya prabhu karilā gamana
premāveśe yāya kari' nāma-sańkīrtana
SYNONYMS
matta-siḿha — a mad lion; prāya — almost like; prabhu — Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; karilā — did; gamana — touring; prema-āveśe — in ecstatic love; yāya — goes; kari' — performing; nāma-sańkīrtana — chanting Kṛṣṇa's name.
TRANSLATION
Almost like a mad lion, Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu went on His tour filled with ecstatic love and performing sańkīrtana, chanting Kṛṣṇa's names as follows.
