āmi jīva, — kṣudra-buddhi, sahaje asthira
īśvarera līlā — koṭi-samudra-gambhīra
SYNONYMS
āmi jīva — I am an ordinary living being; kṣudra-buddhi — possessing limited intelligence; sahaje asthira — very easily agitated; īśvarera līlā — the pastimes of the Lord; koṭi-samudra — as millions of oceans; gambhīra — as deep.
TRANSLATION
Veńkaṭa Bhaṭṭa then said, "I am an ordinary human being. Since my intelligence is very limited and I am easily agitated, my mind cannot enter within the deep ocean of the pastimes of the Lord.
