jagannātha-miśra-ghare bhikṣā ye karila
apūrva mocāra ghaṇṭa tāhāń ye khāila
SYNONYMS
jagannātha-miśra-ghare — in the house of Śrī Jagannātha Miśra; bhikṣā — lunch; ye — that; karila — took; apūrva — unprecedented; mocāra ghaṇṭa — curry made of plantain flowers; tāhāń — there; ye — that; khāila — ate.
TRANSLATION
As soon as Śrī Rańga Purī recalled Navadvīpa, he also recalled accompanying Śrī Mādhavendra Purī to the house of Jagannātha Miśra, where Rańga Purī had taken lunch. He even remembered the taste of an unprecedented curry made of banana flowers.
