tāsāḿ rati-vihāreṇa
śrāntānāḿ vadanāni saḥ
prāmṛjat karuṇaḥ premṇā
śantamenāńga pāṇinā
SYNONYMS
tāsām — of them, the gopīs; rati — of conjugal love; vihāreṇa — by the enjoyment; śrāntānām — who were fatigued; vadanāni — the faces; saḥ — He; prāmṛjat — wiped; karuṇaḥ — merciful; premṇā — lovingly; śantamena — most comforting; ańga — my dear (King Parīkṣit); pāṇinā — with His hand.
TRANSLATION
Seeing that the gopīs were fatigued from conjugal enjoyment, my dear King, merciful Kṛṣṇa lovingly wiped their faces with His comforting hand.
