gopya ūcuḥ
diṣṭyāhito hataḥ kaḿso
yadūnāḿ sānugo 'gha-kṛt
diṣṭyāptair labdha-sarvārthaiḥ
kuśaly āste 'cyuto 'dhunā
SYNONYMS
gopyaḥ ūcuḥ — the gopīs said; diṣṭyā — fortunately; ahitaḥ — the enemy; hataḥ — has been killed; kaḿsaḥ — King Kaḿsa; yadūnām — for the Yadus; sa-anugaḥ — together with his followers; agha — of suffering; kṛt — the cause; diṣṭyā — fortunately; āptaiḥ — with His well-wishers; labdha — who have attained; sarva — all; arthaiḥ — their desires; kuśalī — happily; āste — is living; acyutaḥ — Lord Kṛṣṇa; adhunā — at present.
TRANSLATION
The gopīs said: It is very good that Kaḿsa, the enemy and persecutor of the Yadus, has now been killed, along with his followers. And it is also very good that Lord Acyuta is living happily in the company of His well-wishing friends and relatives, whose every desire is now fulfilled.
