vācā madhurayā prīṇann
idam āhānna-tarpitān
pādāv ańka-gatau viṣṇoḥ
saḿspṛśañ chanakair mudā
SYNONYMS
vācā — in a voice; madhurayā — gentle; prīṇan — trying to please them; idam — this; āha — he said; anna — with food; tarpitān — who had been gratified; pādau — the feet; ańka — on his lap; gatau — situated; viṣṇoḥ — of Lord Kṛṣṇa; saḿspṛśan — massaging; śanakaiḥ — slowly; mudā — happily.
TRANSLATION
When they had eaten to their full satisfaction, for their further pleasure the King began to speak slowly and in a gentle voice as he held Lord Viṣṇu's feet in his lap and happily massaged them.
