śrī-śuka uvāca

evaḿ śaptaś citraketur

vimānād avaruhya saḥ

prasādayām āsa satīḿ

mūrdhnā namreṇa bhārata

SYNONYMS

śrī-śukaḥ uvācaŚrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī said; evam — thus; śaptaḥ — cursed; citraketuḥ — King Citraketu; vimānāt — from his airplane; avaruhya — coming down; saḥhe; prasādayām āsa — completely pleased; satīmPārvatī; mūrdhnā — by his head; namreṇa — bent low; bhārataO King Parīkṣit.

TRANSLATION

Śrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī continued: My dear King Parīkṣit, when Citraketu was cursed by Pārvatī, he descended from his airplane, bowed before her with great humility and pleased her completely.
