eka-i vigraha kintu ākāre haya āna

aneka prakāśa haya, 'vilāsa' tāra nāma

SYNONYMS

eka-i — one; vigraha — form; kintu — but; ākārein appearance; haya — is; āna — different; aneka — many; prakāśa — manifestations; haya — appear; vilāsa — pastime form; tāra — of that; nāma — the name.

TRANSLATION

But when the numerous forms are slightly different from one another, they are called vilāsa-vigrahas.
