ekadina śacī-devī putrere bhartsiyā

dharibāre gelā, putra gelā palāiyā

SYNONYMS

eka-dina — one day; śacī-devī — mother Śacī; putrere — unto the son; bhartsiyā — rebuking; dharibāreto catch Him; gelā — went; putra — the son; gelā — went; palāiyā — running away.

TRANSLATION

One day mother Śacī went to catch her son, wanting to rebuke Him, but He fled from the spot.
