sthūla ei pañca doṣa, pañca alańkāra

sūkṣma vicāriye yadi āchaye apāra

SYNONYMS

sthūla — gross; ei — these; pañca — five; doṣa — faults; pañca — five; alańkāra — literary ornaments; sūkṣmain detail; vicāriye — we consider; yadi — if; āchaye — there are; apāra — unlimited.

TRANSLATION

"I have simply discussed the five gross faults and five literary embellishments of this verse, but if we consider it in fine detail we will find unlimited faults.
