satya-tretā-kali-kāle dharena śrī-pati

SYNONYMS

śukla — white; rakta — red; pīta-varṇa — the color yellow; ei — these; tina — three; dyuti — lusters; satyain Satya-yuga; tretāin Tretā-yuga; kali-kālein the Age of Kali; dharena — manifests; śrī-pati — the husband of the goddess of fortune.

TRANSLATION

White, red and yellow — these are the three bodily lusters that the Lord, the husband of the goddess of fortune, assumes in the ages of Satya, Tretā and Kali respectively.
