mūla-skandhera śākhā āra upaśākhā-gaṇe

lāgilā ye prema-phala, — amṛtake jine

SYNONYMS

mūla-skandhera — of the chief trunk; śākhā — branches; āra — and; upaśākhā-gaṇe — subbranches; lāgilāas it grew; ye — that; prema-phala — the fruit of love; amṛtake jine — such a fruit conquers nectar.

TRANSLATION

Since Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya Mahāprabhu was the original trunk, the taste of the fruits that grew on the branches and subbranches surpassed the taste of nectar.
