pāche prabhura nikaṭa āilā bhakta-gaṇa

gauḍa haite bhakta āise, — kaila nivedana

SYNONYMS

pāche — behind; prabhura — of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; nikaṭain the presence; āilā — came; bhakta-gaṇa — the devotees; gauḍa haite — from Bengal; bhakta — devotees; āise — come; kaila nivedana — submitted.

TRANSLATION

The devotees who had followed the Lord came into His presence and requested Him to return to Purī. They submitted that the devotees from Bengal were coming to Puruṣottama-kṣetra.
