vṛkṣa-vallī praphullita prabhura daraśane

bhṛńga-pika gāya, vahe śītala pavane

SYNONYMS

vṛkṣa-vallī — trees and creepers; praphullita — joyful; prabhura — of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; daraśane — by the sight; bhṛńga — bumblebees; pika — birds; gāya — chant; vahe — were blowing; śītala — cool; pavane — breezes.

TRANSLATION

There were multifarious trees and creepers in the garden, and they were all jubilant to see Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Indeed, the birds were chirping, the bees were buzzing, and a cool breeze was blowing.
