bāhire āsi' rājā ājñā-patra lekhāila

nija-rājye yata 'viṣayī', tāhāre pāṭhāila

SYNONYMS

bāhire āsi' — coming outside; rājā — the King; ājñā-patra — letters of command; lekhāilahad written; nija-rājyein his own kingdom; yata — all; viṣayī — government servants; tāhāre — unto them; pāṭhāila — sent.

TRANSLATION

The King then went outside and had orders written down and sent to the government servants within his kingdom.
