'vibhūti' kahiye yaiche gītā-ekādaśe

jagat vyāpila kṛṣṇa-śakty-ābhāsāveśe

SYNONYMS

vibhūti — specific power; kahiye — we say; yaiche — just like; gītā — of the Bhagavad-gītā; ekādaśein the Eleventh Chapter; jagat — throughout the whole universe; vyāpilaHe expanded; kṛṣṇa-śakti-ābhāsa-āveśe — by the reflection of His power.

TRANSLATION

"As explained in the Eleventh Chapter of the Bhagavad-gītā, Kṛṣṇa has spread Himself all over the universe in many personalities through specific powers, known as vibhūti.

PURPORT

The expansion of specific māyā powers is explained in Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (2.7.39).
