tathāpi ei sūtrera śuna dig-daraśana

sakāraṇa likhi ādau guru-āśrayaṇa

SYNONYMS

tathāpi — still; ei sūtrera — of the synopsis of this book; śuna — hear; dik-daraśanaan indication; sakāraṇa — the cause; likhi — we should write; ādauin the beginning; guru-āśrayaṇa — accepting a bona fide spiritual master.

TRANSLATION

"Because you asked Me for a synopsis, please hear these few indications. In the beginning describe how one must take shelter of a bona fide spiritual master.
