dvāra diyā grāme gelā sei kṣīra lañā

hāṭe hāṭe bule mādhava-purīke cāhiñā

SYNONYMS

dvāra diyā — closing the door; grāmeto the village; gelā — went; sei — that; kṣīra — pot of sweet rice; lañā — taking; hāṭe hāṭein every stall; bule — walks; mādhava-purīketo Mādhavendra Purī; cāhiñā — calling.

TRANSLATION

Closing the door of the temple, he went to the village with the pot of sweet rice. He called out in every stall in search of Mādhavendra Purī.
