kṛṣṇa-sańge pativratā-dharma nahe nāśa

adhika lābha pāiye, āra rāsa-vilāsa

SYNONYMS

kṛṣṇa-sańgein the association of Lord Kṛṣṇa; pati-vratā — of chastity; dharma — vow; nahe — is not; nāśa — lost; adhikamore; lābha — profit; pāiyeI get; āra — also; rāsa-vilāsa — the enjoyment in the rāsa dance.

TRANSLATION

"The goddess of fortune considered that her vow of chastity would not be damaged by her relationship with Kṛṣṇa. Rather, by associating with Kṛṣṇa she could enjoy the benefit of the rāsa dance."
