tās tathāvanatā dṛṣṭvā

bhagavān devakī-sutaḥ

vāsāḿsi tābhyaḥ prāyacchat

karuṇas tena toṣitaḥ

SYNONYMS

tāḥ — then; tathā — thus; avanatāḥ — bowed down; dṛṣṭvā — seeing; bhagavān — the Supreme Personality of Godhead; devakī-sutaḥKṛṣṇa, the son of Devakī; vāsāḿsi — the garments; tābhyaḥto them; prāyacchatHe returned; karuṇaḥ — compassionate; tena — by that act; toṣitaḥ — satisfied .

TRANSLATION

Seeing them bow down like that, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the son of Devakī, gave them back their garments, feeling compassionate toward them and satisfied by their act.
