sā svairiṇy ekadā kāntaḿ

sańketa upaneṣyatī

abhūt kāle bahir dvāre

bibhratī rūpam uttamam

SYNONYMS

— she; svairiṇī — the prostitute; ekadā — once; kāntama paying lover or a customer; sańkete — into her house of sex; upaneṣyatīto bring; abhūt — she stood; kāle — at night; bahiḥ — outside; dvārein the doorway; bibhratī — holding up; rūpam — her form; uttamam — most beautiful.

TRANSLATION

Once that prostitute, desiring to bring a lover into her house, stood outside in the doorway at night showing her beautiful form.
