yā ta ātma-bhṛtaḿ vīryaḿ

navadhā prasaviṣyati

vīrye tvadīye ṛṣaya

ādhāsyanty añjasātmanaḥ

SYNONYMS

— she; te — by you; ātma-bhṛtam — sown in her; vīryam — the seed; nava-dhā — nine daughters; prasaviṣyati — will bring forth; vīrye tvadīyein the daughters begotten by you; ṛṣayaḥ — the sages; ādhāsyanti — will beget; añjasāin total; ātmanaḥ — children.

TRANSLATION

She will bring forth nine daughters from the seed sown in her by you, and through the daughters you beget, the sages will duly beget children.
