tato nirāśo durvāsāḥ

padaḿ bhagavato yayau

vaikuṇṭhākhyaḿ yad adhyāste

śrīnivāsaḥ śriyā saha

tataḥ — thereafter; nirāśaḥ — disappointed; durvāsāḥ — the great mystic Durvāsā; padamto the place; bhagavataḥ — of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Viṣṇu; yayau — went; vaikuṇṭha-ākhyam — the place known as Vaikuṇṭha; yat — wherein; adhyāste — lives perpetually; śrīnivāsaḥ — Lord Viṣṇu; śriyā — with the goddess of fortune; saha — with.

TRANSLATION

Thereafter, being disappointed even in taking shelter of Lord Śiva, Durvāsā Muni went to Vaikuṇṭha-dhāma, where the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Nārāyaṇa, resides with His consort, the goddess of fortune.
