āji tāńre nivediba, kari' japa-dhyāna
śiśu-dvāre kaila more eta apamāna
SYNONYMS
āji — today; tāńre — unto her; nivediba — I shall offer my prayers; kari' — performing; japa — chanting; dhyāna — meditation; śiśu-dvāre — through a boy; kaila — has done; more — unto me; eta — so much; apamāna — insult.
TRANSLATION
"I shall offer prayers and meditation to the goddess of learning," the champion concluded, "and ask her why she has insulted me so greatly through this boy."
