upāsanā-bhede jāni īśvara-mahimā
ataeva sūrya tāńra diyeta upamā
SYNONYMS
upāsanā-bhede — by the different paths of worship; jāni — I know; īśvara — of the Supreme Lord; mahimā — greatness; ataeva — therefore; sūrya — the sun; tāńra — of Him; diyeta — was given; upamā — simile.
TRANSLATION
Thus one may understand the glories of the Lord through different modes of worship, as the analogy of the sun illustrates.
